Ultimate Lawns

About Ultimate Lawns

Some February mornings the thermometer sits well under zero and the stars are still out over the Old Abe trail. Ultimate Lawns is already moving by then — plow down, headlights on the county blacktop running north toward Jim Falls, drives opened and walks cut before the first car needs to back out. Summer runs on the same instinct: show up, cut clean, trim tight to the posts, leave a yard that looks like somebody measured it. Chippewa Falls asks a lot of the ground it grows on, sandy soil in a hot July and banks piled shoulder-high by March, and the work is just meeting each of those on its own terms. The payoff is small and repeatable — a clear drive at dawn, a straight edge in August, nothing left behind to sweep.
