About CurbScape LLC

At three in the morning there is nothing between the village and the next treeline to slow the wind down, so it takes the loose snow off the fields and lays it across the county roads in long ridges. CurbScape LLC is already out in that dark — plowing driveways, opening farm lanes and business approaches, shoveling walks and putting down salt where the ice has set up glassy overnight. Black Creek is an early-rising place; the milking and the shift start don't wait for a storm to finish. So the route runs backward from that, drive by drive, until the plow lights are the only color on the road. The measure of a good night is somebody stepping out at six with coffee in hand and finding the way to the highway already open.
