Rapids Earthworks

About Rapids Earthworks

On a ten-below December morning in Biron, the open water below the dam smokes with mist, and the mill along the river sends its own white plume up into the cold. Rapids Earthworks is in the business of moving earth, and when winter comes it turns that same heavy-equipment muscle on snow. Drifts are shoved back into solid, squared walls, and driveways and lots come out wide and level. A storm that looked like a lost day at nightfall is just a memory by the time the early shift heads out. This is a river town that keeps working through the cold, and a cleared path to the road is where its day begins.
