About Peter's Landscaping

Winter comes into Beloit straight off the open Rock County fields, with nothing between the last cornrow and somebody's front steps to slow it down. Peter's Landscaping works the dark end of those mornings, when the Rock River runs black between white banks and a driveway has to be open before the first car backs out. Plowing, shoveling and salt are what stand between a day that starts on time and a day that doesn't. By May the same routes have gone green, and the work turns to mowing, trimming and an edge cut straight along the walk. It's a plain sort of pride — a path you can take without thinking about it, whatever the month is doing.
