About Herstad Landscaping

Beloit's west side rolls a little — the ground out around the Krueger-Haskell course rises and dips the way the glaciers left it — and a late-spring rain brings all of it up green overnight. Herstad Landscaping works those slopes and swales, mowing with the contour, trimming the awkward corners, edging so a curving walk keeps its shape. The wet weeks of May and June are the real test, when grass grows faster than any schedule wants and the cut still has to come out even. Cleanups at either end of the year reset the yard, in April and again once the leaves are down. Uneven ground, level lawn — that is the trick worth taking pride in.
