LJ Snow Removal

About LJ Snow Removal

Bay-effect snow comes at Bellevue sideways, off the water and over the ledge, and it can turn a clear evening into four inches by ten o'clock. LJ Snow Removal works those nights — plowing drives and lots, banking the piles where they will not block a sight line, shoveling walks and steps, salting the glaze that shows up once the wind quits. There is a stretch around three in the morning when the whole village is white and silent and the only thing moving is a truck wearing amber lights. By the time alarms go off, the pavement is dark again and the day can just begin. That is the job, all winter, in Brown County.
