About Schmidt Landscape Services, Inc.

October turns the hills around Belleville into something worth pulling over for — oaks going rust, maples flaring along the county roads, the light gone thin and gold by four in the afternoon. Schmidt Landscape Services, Inc. spends that stretch on leaves: raking, blowing, hauling, and the final mow of the year laid down short so the turf heads into winter clean. Earlier in the year it is the weekly cut, the trimmed border, beds kept honest and edges kept sharp. There is a genuine pleasure in that last pass across a yard in late fall, everything put in order and quiet. Then the village settles in, and the grass waits.
