About Blades & Blizzards, LLC

April in Dodge County arrives as mud first and green second — the low drumlin ridges west of town turn from brown to a startling new color in about a week. Blades & Blizzards, LLC starts its year in that window: the first cut of the season, the rake-out of winter's flattened thatch, the edges redrawn where the snowbanks sat all February. From there it is steady mowing and trimming straight through a long Wisconsin summer, then the autumn cleanup that puts a yard to bed. Lawns here take a beating over the cold months and repay anyone who tends them early. It is plain seasonal lawn work, done for the look of a yard that has clearly been kept.
