About Top Notch Lawns LLC

Barneveld sits high on the ridge where the driftless hills begin, with the Blue Mounds standing to the east and weather that arrives with nothing to slow it down. Top Notch Lawns LLC mows and maintains the village's yards through the growing season, then swaps decks for plows when the ridge wind starts stacking snow across driveways. Up here a storm drifts hard, so clearing snow is less an errand than a craft — cut the banks back, keep the walks clear down to the concrete, do it again before first light if the wind rebuilds them. In summer the reward is simpler: green terraces of lawn against all that rolling country. They serve Barneveld along with Ridgeway, Blue Mounds, and Mount Horeb.
