About Blades of Glory LLC

Downtown Baraboo still keeps its square, and in December the Al. Ringling Theatre marquee throws light onto snow nobody has touched yet. Blades of Glory LLC starts before the shops do, plowing lots, cutting sidewalks and entryways open, spreading salt so the first person through the door never has to think about the walk at all. Winter here arrives in bursts off the plains, four inches overnight and a wind that redrifts whatever was just moved. When the ground softens the work turns to mowing and trimming, keeping the grass even from the first warm weeks through the hot middle of the year. Both halves come down to the same thing: showing up while it still matters.
