About Connors Logging & Tree Services

The Pecatonica River winds right through Argyle, and the rounded hills of Lafayette County fold in around the village on every side. Connors Logging & Tree Services is a logging and tree business, and come winter it takes on snow removal in town. On a gray February morning, with the river locked under ice and lights already burning in the dairy barns up on the ridges, a cleared lane lets the day start on time. Snow on hilly ground rewards forethought: the good bank is the one set where spring meltwater will run away from the drive instead of across it. All of it is for Argyle, the village by the Pecatonica.
