True North Lawn & Snow

About True North Lawn & Snow

North is a real direction in Appleton — the Fox flows that way, toward the bay, against what most people expect of a river. True North Lawn & Snow works both ends of the calendar along it: mowing, trimming and cleanups through the green months, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ground goes hard. Dusk in October is the changeover, the last cut behind you and the blade coming down off the shelf. Out past Plamann Park the open fields hold snow in long pale sweeps; in town it is driveways and walks, one address at a time. Either season, the measure is a property that looks looked-after.
