About Krueger & Stienfest Inc

February in Langlade County has its own blue — the hour before sunrise when the snowbanks glow and the thermometer has nothing kind to say. North of Antigo the road runs up toward Elcho and Summit Lake and the Nicolet timber, and the drifts build wherever the woods break open. Krueger & Stienfest Inc runs the plow through those mornings, clearing drives and lots so the day can start on time. The measure of it is simple: pavement showing, banks pushed back far enough to still be useful in March, and a turnaround wide enough to actually turn around in. Winter is the long season here, and somebody has to be out in front of it.
