Evergreen Lawncare

About Evergreen Lawncare

Antigo carries an Ojibwe name for the evergreen river that still threads through town, and the balsam-dark north woods begin only a few miles up the road. Evergreen Lawncare works the bright season stretched between them — the sudden green-up in May, the hard growing weeks of June, the slow gold that comes on in September. Mowing here is mostly a matter of timing: catch the grass at the right height and the whole yard reads as one calm, even surface, right out to the trimmed line along the walk. When the maples let go, the rakes come out and the leaves go where leaves ought to go. It is a short summer in this part of Wisconsin, which is exactly why it deserves to be kept well.
