Greener Grasses

About Greener Grasses

On a June morning the old rail bed of the Stower Seven Lakes Trail runs out of Amery through a corridor of green so dense it feels like a tunnel, and the whole county looks like it is trying to grow all at once. Keeping pace with that is the job. Greener Grasses mows, trims and edges lawns around town on a rhythm matched to how fast the grass is actually running — weekly when it's racing, longer once August slows things down. A lawn cut at the right height holds its color instead of scorching. The reward is simple: thick grass, even lines, and a yard that still looks alive in the middle of a dry spell.
