About A Cut Above Tree Service LLC

Altoona grew up along the rail line beside the Eau Claire River, and the town still holds its silver maples and bur oaks over the older streets. A Cut Above Tree Service works among them — pruning out deadwood and crossing limbs, trimming crowns back off a roof before the snow load comes, removing the ash or box elder that has finished its run. Off Lake Altoona the wind crosses open water and finds the weak wood first; after it does, storm damage cleanup clears the driveway and takes the brush away. Winter has its own reward here: bare limbs, frozen ground, and a plain view of a tree's whole structure before the first cut. The yard is left raked, and whatever stands afterward stands better for it.
