About Colby Excavating LLC

Out here the storms don't so much fall as travel. Wind crosses the flat dairy country around Abbotsford with nothing to slow it, and by dusk the road-edge drifts are rebuilding themselves faster than the daylight can keep up. Colby Excavating LLC meets that with blade down, opening driveways, yards and business lots through the long central-Wisconsin winter and coming back when the wind refills them. Pushing the banks well clear of the apron is half of it; leaving a place wide enough to swing a truck around in February is the other half. When the plow finally lifts and the yard light shows gravel end to end, that's the whole point of the night.
