About Black Top Solutions

Mount Rainier stands close enough over Yelm that its snowfields catch the first light long before the prairie below sees any, and that's the hour Black Top Solutions prefers for clearing a lot. The business built its name laying asphalt across this stretch of Thurston County, and it treats a dusting of ice the same practical way — scrape it, salt it, leave the black surface bare and gripping again. Downtown along Yelm Avenue the storefronts sit low against wide sky, and a cleared curb cut there matters as much as a cleared warehouse apron out past the hay fields. Storms here rarely pile deep, but they come wet and slick off the prairie air, the kind that glazes a driveway overnight without anyone noticing until a car slides. Black Top Solutions plows driveways and parking lots and lays ice melt across walkways for homes and businesses around Yelm, working the flat prairie roads while Rainier keeps watch to the east.
