About PENA TREE & LAND LLC

Yakima's green is hard-won. This is sagebrush country under a big, sunny sky, and the lawns in town live on water carried down from the Cascades. PENA TREE & LAND, a tree and land business, mows and tends lawns across the city, where long summers push the grass hungry and fast. On August evenings, when the heat finally breaks and the air along the Yakima River Greenway turns soft, the day's work shows in clean stripes and edges cut straight along the sidewalk. Trimming keeps borders neat beside patios and planting beds, so a yard holds its shape even through the hottest weeks. Under the long valley light, a freshly cut lawn feels like a cool drink of water.
