Green Baron

About Green Baron

In October the Rattlesnake Hills across the valley run rust and gold, and the low sun makes every lawn in Yakima look better than it did in August. Green Baron works toward that effect on purpose, holding turf even and healthy through the long hot middle of the year so it has something left to give in the fall. The work is mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, repeated with enough discipline that a yard never has a bad week. Grass here is a deliberate thing, coaxed out of a dry country by attention and water, and it deserves to be cut properly. A deep, level lawn against a valley of sagebrush hills is a small triumph worth keeping up.
