DK Lawn & Snow

About DK Lawn & Snow

The cul-de-sacs of Yakima's West Valley subdivisions were built for lawns, not snow, and every irrigation head and sprinkler line under the turf freezes solid the first hard night of the season. DK Lawn & Snow spends the warmer months keeping those same lawns green and switches, come a rare cold snap, straight to clearing the driveways above them, working the curving suburban streets one loop at a time. The crew knows which driveways slope toward the street and ice first, and which cul-de-sac bulbs need an extra pass so delivery trucks can still turn around. Walkways get shoveled by hand along the sidewalk-lined blocks, salt down after so kids waiting for the school bus don't go down on the ice. It's a quick pivot from mowing to plowing, but the same driveways get the same care either way.
