Colonial Lawn & Garden

About Colonial Lawn & Garden

By late October the big trees near the Yakima Area Arboretum start letting go all at once, and every lawn under them disappears for a few weeks. Colonial Lawn & Garden works both halves of that story — the grass and the garden beds that frame it. Through the growing months it's mowing, edging, trimming and keeping the borders clean; when the leaves fall it's raking, clearing and hauling until the turf can breathe again. In a valley this bright, a yard rewards attention quickly, and it shows neglect just as fast. There's a plain pleasure in walking off a property where the lawn is even, the beds are defined, and nothing is left lying where it shouldn't be.
