About Norwest Landscaping Inc

Above Yacolt the land climbs fast toward Yacolt Mountain, and on clear cold mornings you can watch the frost line creep down the slope before it ever touches the valley floor below. Norwest Landscaping Inc reads that line the way other people read a forecast, timing the first plow runs to reach the hillside properties before the frost turns to ice on the gravel. Down in town, driveways tucked behind blackberry brambles and split-rail fences get cleared next, narrow enough in places that the blade has to feather sideways to keep from tearing up the gravel shoulder. The work slows through the middle of the day as the valley sun does its own thawing, then picks back up toward evening when temperatures drop again and yesterday's slush starts to stiffen. A driveway kept clear through a short season like this is one less thing a Yacolt household has to think about before heading out.
