Timber TEKS Tree Service

About Timber TEKS Tree Service

Woodland grew up on timber, and Timber TEKS still works those same wooded edges, only in winter the job shifts from felling to clearing the snow those trees drop on the driveways beneath them. When a cold snap grips hard enough to freeze the ditches along Lewis River Road, the crew works into dusk, headlamps and truck lights the only glow left once the sun drops behind the ridge. They know the properties tucked back in stands of Douglas fir where drifting is worst, where a single overnight snowfall can bury a driveway under branch litter and windblown powder both. Front steps get shoveled by hand where a truck can't turn around, salt down after, so the walk to the mailbox stays sure-footed. Full dark comes on early this far up the valley, and the plowed gravel catches what little light is left, silver against the black timber behind it.
