Grass Master Hydroseeding runs the Sammamish valley floor and the slopes of Hollywood Hill, spraying hydroseed onto bare ground in spring, then mowing, edging and trimming the lawns it helped start. A hydroseeded slope looks like nothing at all for ten days — a green-tinted blank — and then one wet morning it fuzzes over, and a week later it is a lawn. The routes follow water: Little Bear Creek, Bear Creek, the flat ground along the river trail where fog sits low until midmorning. Come August, when the valley dries down and the hillsides turn tawny, those same lawns are still holding their color, and that is a fine thing to pass on the drive home.
