Arbor Care

About Arbor Care

When the autumn wind pushes in from the foothills, Hollywood Hill starts talking — big-leaf maples letting go all at once, alders creaking over the rooflines. Arbor Care tends the standing part of a Woodinville yard: pruning and thinning, shaping shrubs, lifting canopies so light can reach the grass underneath, and clearing what comes down after a blow. Under those trees the lawn work is its own puzzle, and it gets mown, trimmed and raked clear of needles so the turf keeps its footing in the shade. A well-pruned maple in November has a shape you can read against the gray, which is most of the point. The yard is left swept, the brush hauled, and the ground ready for whatever the next front brings.
