EZ Mow

About EZ Mow

Freight trains rumble along the Columbia at Wishram, and the wind funneling through the east end of the Gorge keeps the grass in constant motion. EZ Mow mows lawns in this little river-and-rail town in Klickitat County, where basalt cliffs rise behind the houses and summers burn hot and bright. Good work here means timing the job to the breeze, catching a calm morning hour to bring the grass down low before the gusts build. A trimmed border along the walk turns each yard into a tidy green square set against rock and river. When the evening train slides past and the light goes copper on the water, the lawn looks finished and at ease.
