About G's Landscaping

On a clear morning Mount Adams fills the western sky above White Swan, its glaciers bright even in July, while the sage hills of the Yakama Reservation begin to shimmer with heat. G's Landscaping tends lawns in this Yakima County town, where a patch of green grass stands out against the dry country all around. Work starts early, before the sun climbs, so the mower can cut tidy rows while the grass is still cool underfoot. Edges are trimmed tight along driveways and garden borders, and the yard slips back into the shade of its trees looking neat and restful. By the time the afternoon wind lifts dust along the road toward Fort Simcoe, the lawn is finished and holding its color.
