Wenatchee winters have a trick to them: some mornings the whole valley fills with a flat gray fog while the hilltops above sit in clear sun, and a driveway can be glazed and invisible until nearly noon. Let It Snow Inc works those fog-bound mornings, plowing streets and driveways down in the murk long before the inversion burns off and the Columbia River reappears below Saddle Rock. There's a particular kind of trust required, clearing a lane you can't fully see the end of, guided by fence lines and mailbox posts more than sightlines. When the fog finally lifts by midday and the valley comes back into view, orchard rows and rooftops all at once, the driveways already cleared stand out as small, finished squares of gray asphalt. It's unglamorous work in strange weather, and it gets people moving on days the valley seems to have disappeared.
