About Columbia Lawn & Landscape

Wind is the fourth season in this valley, and it shows up hardest along the river at Walla Walla Point, bending the cottonwoods and pushing whitecaps down the Columbia. Columbia Lawn & Landscape works with it rather than against it — blowing clippings downwind, timing trims for the calm of early morning, keeping crisp edges where grass meets walk and drive. The weekly list runs to mowing, edging, string trimming, weed control and cleanup as the year turns. Lawns this close to the water green up early and hold late, and that long middle stretch is where care shows. A yard that looks tended on a windy day took some doing.
