About Black Diamond Construction, LLC

Above the Wenatchee Valley, the basalt benches climb in dark terraces toward Saddle Rock, and the gravel roads that thread them ice over long before the orchards below ever see frost. Black Diamond Construction, LLC works those upper grades first, clearing driveways and access roads while the valley floor is still asleep under its own cold. There's a particular satisfaction in a plow blade finding bare rock on a switchback that was glare ice an hour earlier, headlights of the first commuters catching a clean, dry lane. By the time the sun clears the Cascades and lights up the orchard rows in gold, the roads this crew has touched are already dry and passable. It's steep, exacting work, done in the dark for people who live where the climb is worth it.
