Niece Pumping Service

About Niece Pumping Service

Out past the last stretch of open farmland on Vashon's quieter roads, driveways run long before they reach a house, past a well house, a propane tank, sometimes a barn, and a single overnight snow can leave all of it impassable. Niece Pumping Service clears those long rural approaches so the trucks that keep an island property running, water, propane, and everything else, can still get down the drive in winter. The work starts in the dark, headlights catching frost on blackberry canes and fence wire before the sun clears the fir line to the east. Every driveway on this list is a little different: some climb, some wind through open field, one dead-ends at a pond that steams faintly on the coldest mornings. Getting all of them open by the time deliveries start is the whole job.
