About Step Above Landscaping

Late August in Clark County goes gold and dusty, the East Fork Lewis running low, the last of the daylight coming in sideways across yards that have been baked all week. Step Above Landscaping keeps lawns going through that dry stretch and the wet one on either side of it, mowing, trimming and edging, then clearing the leaf fall when the maples along the county roads finally give in. Barberton sits where the Vancouver neighborhoods loosen into pasture and fir, and the yards reflect it — long, sunny, edged by blackberry that will take a lawn back if nobody argues with it. Steady maintenance is that argument, made a week at a time. Come dusk, with the edges cut sharp and the driveway swept, the place looks a step above what it was that morning.
