Pa's Tree Service

About Pa's Tree Service

Behind the old Monticello block downtown, the alleys run narrow enough that a plow truck barely fits, and the maples planted along them decades back drop their heaviest limbs right where delivery trucks need to back in. Pa's Tree Service works those back streets the way a small crew learns a place over time — which alley floods, which awning catches ice, which corner needs a shovel more than a blade. After a freeze, that means clearing pavement by hand as much as by truck, hauling off whatever came down overnight, and making sure the shops fronting Broadway can get their deliveries through by opening time. It is close, careful work, done in spaces too tight for anything bigger than a hand truck and a broom.
