Miller Yard Maintenance

About Miller Yard Maintenance

September in the north end of Clark County has a particular color to it — the fields toward Ridgefield gone tawny, the mornings cool, the grass suddenly growing again after the dry stretch. Miller Yard Maintenance meets that second flush the way it meets the first one in April: mowing on schedule, edging the walks, trimming the borders and carrying off what comes up. Autumn is the long tail of the season here, wet and leafy and easy to fall behind on, and staying ahead of it is most of the craft. A yard kept through those months goes into winter tidy and comes out of it green. From Vancouver north to the country roads, the truck runs the same route and leaves each place better than it found it.
