About J's Landscaping, Inc

Uptown Village keeps its lawns in miniature — parking strips the width of a mower, front squares the size of a rug, corners cut off by a hundred-year-old street grid. J's Landscaping, Inc likes that scale, because at that size everything shows: the edge along the curb, the trim around a porch step, the line between a lawn and the neighbor's. Mowing, edging, trimming and clearing the cuttings makes up the work, done at a pace that lets the small stuff get done right. On Saturday mornings the whole city seems to be walking downtown to the market, and those little front yards are what they walk past. Vancouver's older streets deserve that kind of attention, and they hold onto it well.
