The view homes up on Prune Hill look straight down over the Columbia, and on the rare morning the river valley below is dusted white, the roofs up top usually caught worse than anywhere else in Vancouver. IBEX Roof clears that snow and the ice dams that build up along the eaves before either one can find its way under the shingles. The pitch on a lot of these roofs makes the work slower than it would be on a flat ranch house downhill, so the crew works it in sections, clearing from the ridge down rather than fighting gravity. Ice dams get the closest attention, since a ridge of ice at the gutter line is what actually lets water back up under a roof rather than off it.
