Henry Jesus’ Landscape Maintenance

About Henry Jesus’ Landscape Maintenance

The big-leaf maples along the Burnt Bridge Creek greenway let go all at once in November, and for three weeks half of Vancouver is under a hand-sized yellow blanket. Henry Jesus' Landscape Maintenance meets that head-on — raking, blowing and hauling out what would otherwise mat down and take the lawn with it into spring. The rest of the calendar is the steady part: mowing, edging along walks and drives, and trimming the borders that make a yard look decided rather than merely cut. There is quiet pride in the moment a leaf-buried lawn comes back green in one afternoon, and the homeowner steps out and says nothing because there is nothing left to point at. Work runs through Vancouver and the older neighborhoods where the trees are tallest and the fall is heaviest.
