About ARS Restoration Services, Inc.

The wind that pours down the Columbia Gorge each winter doesn't always bring snow to Vancouver — more often it brings a hard glaze of ice that turns Fourth Plain Boulevard into a sheet overnight. When that happens, ARS Restoration Services, Inc. is one of the crews out clearing driveways and walkways before the thaw sets in, working block by block until the ice is broken up and the ground underneath is safe to stand on again. The work moves fast, because a Gorge freeze rarely lasts more than a few days before the marine air pushes back in from the west. There is real care in a driveway or a set of steps cleared while a neighborhood is still finding its footing after a storm. Restoration, in this line, starts with getting people safely out their own front door.
