Arbor City Tree Care

About Arbor City Tree Care

A wet, heavy snow is rare in Vancouver, but when it comes, it's the big-leaf maples and Douglas firs along the Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway that carry it worst, their branches bowing low until something gives. Arbor City Tree Care goes out after those storms to bring down the limbs that snow has already half-broken, before wind or a second freeze finishes the job somewhere less convenient — a driveway, a roofline, a fence line. The crew reads a tree's lean and load before the first cut, so the wood comes down clean and in the right direction. Afterward the greenway looks almost untouched, just lighter, the canopy relieved of what it couldn't carry on its own. Watching a stand of trees stand easy again after a hard week of weather is worth the climb it took to get there.
