About Iron Roots Property Services LLC

October in Valley smells of pine pitch and woodsmoke, and the ponderosas let their long needles fall in rust-colored drifts across lawns at the forest's edge. Iron Roots Property Services, a property services company, looks after lawns in this northeast Washington town, where autumn runs short and bright before the cold takes hold. An afternoon of fall cleanup clears away needles, cones and windfall twigs, and a final low mow leaves the turf tidy for its winter rest. Raked and trimmed, a yard can meet the first hard frost in good order. As the sun drops behind the western ridge, the cleaned lawn glows a last deep green against the darkening pines.
