About New Life Tree Service LLC

The Lewis River comes down out of the hills at Woodland and slows into Columbia bottomland — cottonwood country, fast-growing and heavy. New Life Tree Service works that ground: removal of the cottonwood that has out-leaned its bank, trimming firs back off a roofline, pruning young maples and lilac-yard shade trees into a shape that will hold. Weather arrives from the east off Mount St. Helens and as river fog from the north, and between the two, limbs come down; storm damage cleanup gets the lane cleared and the broken tops taken away. Around Horseshoe Lake the work happens close to fences and gardens, so a tree comes apart in sections rather than in one loud moment. There is pride in a river-town yard that comes through the season standing.
