About Yanes Landscaping

February in Tukwila is wind more than cold — branches down on the hill streets near Thorndyke and Showalter, the driveways slick with wet leaves nobody got to. Yanes Landscaping spends that stretch clearing: hauling limbs, raking out the corners, cutting back the shrubs that took the winter badly. It's unglamorous work and it makes the biggest visible change of any month, a yard going from wrecked to orderly in an afternoon. By the time the grass starts again in March, the ground is ready and the first mow is easy. That's the plan, anyway, and mostly the weather cooperates.
