Open Solution

About Open Solution

Spring shows up first as debris — a whole winter of grit, needles and twigs spread along the drives, then worked into the grass over the cold months. Open Solution starts the Tacoma season right there: raking and blowing that grit back out, lifting the matted needle layer, taking a first cut before the lawn runs away in the first warm stretch. After that it is mowing, trimming and edging on a steady rotation, with aeration to break up soil the winter pressed flat and overseeding where the thin spots sat longest. Feeding follows the season as it actually arrives rather than any fixed schedule. By the Fourth of July the lawn has forgotten the entire winter, and it looks it.
