About North West Gardens Lawn Care

April in the Proctor District smells like wet cedar, coffee and cut grass all in the same block. North West Gardens Lawn Care works the bungalow streets there and the narrow alleys behind them, where the lawns are small, the parking strips are long, and every square foot is visible from the sidewalk. Mowing, edging, trimming, weeding the beds and clearing away what comes off — done at a size where the details are the whole job. There is a particular pleasure in a corner lot cut tight to its garden edges on a Saturday morning, with the market crowd walking by. As the season turns, the cleanups take over: leaves off the lawn, borders reset, everything put in order before the long gray months. Northwest yards grow hard and forgive nothing, which is reason enough to keep after them.
