Major League Lawn Care

About Major League Lawn Care

There is a ballpark on the west side of Tacoma where the grounds get groomed before the first pitch, lines laid straight, grass combed one direction and then the other. Major League Lawn Care carries that same idea up the driveway of an ordinary house on an ordinary Tuesday. Mowing in deliberate passes, edges cut like chalk down the walk, trimmer work around the mailbox post and the swing set, and the drive blown clean before the truck pulls away. Out toward Snake Lake the cattails hiss in the afternoon wind and the yards go long fast in a wet Tacoma spring, which is why the schedule holds week to week instead of whenever. Cleanups bracket the year, opening the beds in March and stripping the leaves out in November. Game-day standards, applied to a front lawn.
