About G&R Landscaping

Dawn on the valley flats near Fife arrives flat and silver, and the trucks are loaded before the fog lifts off the fields. G&R Landscaping runs outward from that hour across Tacoma and the towns below it — mowing, edging, string trimming, hedge and shrub trimming, weeding, bark, and full yard cleanups when a property has gotten ahead of itself. Down here the wind comes up the valley in the afternoon and takes half a day's cleared walkway with it, so the last pass counts as much as the first. Grass on this river ground comes in fast and thick, and holding it to a straight weekly line is its own kind of satisfaction. By the time the light goes the route is finished and a dozen yards are standing sharp.
