Lawn Esthetic

About Lawn Esthetic

Late afternoon on the North Slope, the light comes in sideways across a mown lawn and shows every line in it, straight or otherwise. Lawn Esthetic is built around that moment in Tacoma — mowing to an even height, edging walks, drives and beds to a hard line, string trimming, shaping hedges and shrubs, weeding, and clearing the whole property before the truck moves on. A yard is a small composition: it has a frame, a surface and borders, and it only looks finished when all three agree with each other. This is a generous place to work, since a lawn here keeps offering fresh chances to get it right. Driving past later and seeing those edges still holding is the reason to take the time the first go.
