About Calendula Nursery & Landscapes

Snow is a rare guest in Tacoma, which is exactly why it matters when it shows up. A few inches on the steep streets that tumble down toward Commencement Bay can turn a short errand into a standstill, and a slick front walk becomes a real hazard overnight. Calendula Nursery & Landscapes clears snow when those winter storms do land, opening driveways and shoveling steps and walkways down to bare concrete so neighbors can get out the door. Below, the bay lies dark and still while the cranes at the port wear a dusting of white, and the city slowly finds its footing again. A cleared path on a hilly Tacoma block is a small gift on a cold morning.
