About Arbor Services Northwest LLC

Under the firs on the road out to Point Defiance, a lawn lives in half-light and does everything slowly. Arbor Services Northwest LLC works those shaded Tacoma yards: mowing and edging where the ground opens up, string trimming around root flare and stone, thinning and shaping shrubs and hedges so light can reach the turf, and hauling out the needle drop that mats everything down. Autumn is the long stretch, when big-leaf maple comes down in sheets and a single yard needs a second and a third pass before it reads clean. That kind of clearing is unglamorous and immediately visible, which makes it the best sort of work. When the plantings are tidy and the grass beneath them is cut even, a shaded lot stops feeling like forest floor and starts feeling like a garden again.
